New details have emerged regarding the condition of Kenyan comedian Sammy Kioko following his reported assault by Machakos County enforcement officers.
Fellow entertainer 2mbili has shared medical updates that suggest the comedian’s injuries are more severe than initially thought. The news comes as Kioko remains at the centre of a Sh19 million debt dispute with the county government.
Serious Fractures Confirmed by X-Ray
According to medical results shared by 2mbili, Kioko has suffered a significant injury to his lower body. The X-ray scans reportedly show a fracture in his left thigh, specifically around the knee area. This injury has left the comedian unable to stand or walk for the time being.

“Results From the XRay done to Sammy Kioko shows he has a fracture in his left thigh around the knee!” 2Mbili updated.
Medical staff have already begun treatment to address the damage. A plaster has been placed on Kioko’s leg in an attempt to stabilise him while he recovers. The update paints a worrying picture of the physical toll the confrontation at the Machakos County offices has taken on the popular creator.
“He can’t stand hence won’t be able to walk anytime soon! A plaster has been put on his leg to try stabilize him,” 2Mbili added.
Allegations of Medical Interference
In a more controversial turn, 2mbili has levelled serious accusations against the Machakos County leadership. He alleged that a directive was issued to local healthcare facilities regarding Kioko’s treatment.
The comedian claimed that all Machakos County hospitals were summoned and told not to provide life-saving services to the injured star.

Reports suggest that Kioko had difficulty securing immediate help within the county. 2mbili described a frustrating process where the comedian was moved between various hospitals.
He compared the experience to being passed around like a "collection tin" before eventually finding care elsewhere.
“All Machakos County hospitals have been summoned not to save the life of Sammy Kioko!! It’s a big shame! Anazungushwa hosi to hosi kama mkebe ya sadaka,” 2Mbili alleged further.

The Sh19 Million Debt Row
The violence reportedly broke out when Kioko went to the county headquarters to demand payment for services rendered. He claims he is owed Sh19 million by the administration. During the protest, he was allegedly beaten by county askaris and briefly arrested.
Fellow celebrities have reacted with fury to the latest developments. Eddie Butita lashed out at Governor Wavinya Ndeti, calling for the county to stop punishing hardworking citizens and settle the debt.
Nasra Yusuf also expressed her shock, stating that the treatment of Kioko was beyond contempt.
