The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has announced 16 job vacancies and extended the application deadline to April 6, 2026, as it seeks to strengthen its workforce.
In a notice issued under Section 13 (2) of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act No. 2 of 2013, the ODPP said it has the mandate to “appoint, control and supervise its staff in a manner and for such purposes as may be necessary for the promotion of the purpose and the object for which the Office is established.”
The vacancies include one position for Finance Officer under Grade DPP 8 and 15 positions for Driver II under Grade DPP 12. The recruitment follows an earlier advertisement published on March 10, 2026, through MyGov and the ODPP website.
Applicants have been directed to submit their applications online through the ODPP careers portal, with the office emphasising that “no hard copy applications will be accepted.”
The deadline for submission has been pushed to 5.00 pm East African Time on April 6, 2026.
The ODPP said it is committed to inclusivity in line with Article 232 (i) of the Constitution.
“Persons with disability, Intersex and those from marginalized and minority communities are encouraged to apply,” the notice stated.
Candidates shortlisted for interviews will be required to present original identification documents and academic certificates.
At the same time, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has re-advertised a senior position as it seeks to fill the role of Commissioner for Business Strategy, Technology and Enterprise Modernization.
The tax agency described itself as “a state agency of the Government of Kenya established under the Kenya Revenue Authority Act of 1995, CAP 469” and said it is looking for “a results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic and experienced individual with high integrity” for the position.
Interested applicants have been asked to submit their applications online through the PKF recruitment portal by April 21, 2026 at 23:59 hours East African Time.
The agency warned that “it is a criminal offence to present fake certificates/documents and to include incorrect information in the application,” adding that “canvassing, falsifying or misrepresentation of qualifications will lead to automatic disqualification.”
KRA also clarified that “PKF does not charge any application, processing, interviewing, or any other fee at any stage of the recruitment process,” and reiterated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Successful candidates will be required to meet Chapter Six requirements on leadership and integrity, including clearance certificates from institutions such as the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Higher Education Loans Board, and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
Meanwhile, the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) has also announced vacancies for two senior positions, including Chief Executive Officer and Manager for Human Resource and Administration.
The commission, established under Article 215 of the Constitution, said its mandate is to “recommend the basis for equitable sharing of revenue raised nationally between the National and County Governments” as well as among counties.
Applications for the CRA positions must be submitted physically, either by post or hand delivery, to its offices at Prism Towers on Ngong Road by April 13, 2026 at 5 p.m.
The commission noted that “people with disabilities, the marginalized and minorities are encouraged to apply” and warned that “it is a criminal offence to present fake certificates and documents.” Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and they must meet Chapter Six requirements by providing clearance certificates from relevant institutions.
All three institutions emphasised that they are equal opportunity employers and urged qualified candidates to apply within the stated timelines.
