Rising Kenyan music sensation Gody Tennor has left his female fan base with plenty to talk about. The artist, who is a leading figure in the popular Arbantone genre, took to social media to set the record straight about his personal life.
In a candid series of messages, he made it clear that he is not a one-woman man.
Laying It All Bare
Gody Tennor used his Instagram stories to address the many female fans who have been showing him affection. He started by acknowledging the support he receives but quickly moved to a more personal revelation.

He told his followers that he felt the need to be completely transparent about his lifestyle choices.
The singer stated firmly that he is polygamous. He explained that he does not commit to just one person and has no intention of pretending otherwise.
“To my female fans, I appreciate all the love, but I gotta be real. I’m polygamous. I don’t do one person only, and I won’t pretend to,” Gody Tennor stated.
Vibes over Exclusivity
The message was particularly aimed at those hoping for a serious or exclusive relationship with the star. Tennor noted that while he respects those who seek exclusivity, it simply does not align with who he is. He offered a "take it or leave it" proposition to his drooling fans.
He wrote that if fans are only looking for "the vibes," then they are on good terms. However, he was quick to draw a line for anyone expecting more.

He concluded his statement by emphasizing that his post was about no lies but honesty.
“If you are here for the vibes, we are good, if you want exclusive, I respect that, but that’s not me. No lies, just honesty,” he concluded.
The Arbantone Context
Outside of his personal life, Gody Tennor is currently one of the most influential figures in the Kenyan music industry. He is credited as a pioneer of Arbantone, a fresh musical movement that has taken East Africa by storm.
The genre blends elements of traditional Gengetone with modern samples and catchy hooks.
Tennor’s rise to fame has been meteoric. His hit songs, such as "Huku" and "Mukuchu," have garnered millions of views on platforms like YouTube and TikTok. This massive digital presence explains why his recent relationship "disclaimer" has caused such a stir online.
