A total of 208 officers arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where they were welcomed by senior security officials, including the National Security Adviser, Monicah Juma, and the Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja.
The delegation also included the Deputy National Security Adviser, Joseph Boinnet, and the Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service, Eliud Lagat.
The officers had formed part of a larger Kenya-led MSS deployment tasked with supporting the Haitian National Police in combating gang violence, restoring public safety, and securing critical infrastructure.
Their operations focused on safeguarding key facilities such as airports, seaports, road networks, and major transport corridors, ensuring both civilian safety and the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The contingent also contributed to institutional rebuilding efforts. They supported the Haitian National Police Academy, now training its third cohort, and helped re-establish the Armed Forces College.

He assured them of continued welfare support, including mental health and counselling services, as part of the post-mission debrief process.

The return of the third contingent underscores Kenya’s ongoing commitment to international peacekeeping and security support missions. Their deployment has been credited with enhancing safety in Haiti, enabling humanitarian operations, and building institutional capacity within the Haitian security forces.
The officers are expected to reintegrate into their respective units while contributing knowledge gained from their overseas deployment to strengthen local policing and security operations across the country.
