The Kenya Medical Training College has reassured prospective students and their families that its admissions processes for the March intake are fully secure, emphasising that all procedures are handled exclusively through authorised channels.

Successful applicants are expected to start reporting to their respective colleges across KMTC’s 92 campuses and five satellite campuses nationwide at the end of the month.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) opened the application portal for 31 KMTC courses on March 5 and closed it on March 13 for the March intake.

Applications were open to 2025 and previous KCSE cohorts, as well as to applicants who were unsuccessful during the January intake window.

In a statement, KMTC acknowledged that fraud and misinformation often spike during admissions periods but reassured the public that sufficient safeguards have been activated to prevent exploitation of parents, guardians and students.

The college emphasised that all admissions and official procedures are handled exclusively through authorised channels, and no individual can influence placement or services in exchange for money.

"The college provides a system rooted in accountability, professionalism and student welfare, ensuring students are in a safe and supportive learning environment. Constant vigilance remains essential because this period often attracts scammers who exploit misinformation and urgency."

On arrival, KMTC said incoming students will be taken through the reporting process which begins with document verification, followed by fee payment and registration.

“Although the process may seem daunting, dedicated staff across campuses are ready to guide and support every step, ensuring a smooth transition into training,” the college said.

CEO Kelly Oluoch highlighted the quality and professionalism of the institution's programmes that aim to expand access to quality medical training and directly contribute to Kenya’s and the world’s growing demand for skilled health professionals.

He said incoming students are joining a trusted institution at the heart of healthcare delivery, equipped with modern skills laboratories, experienced trainers and hands-on clinical exposure in real health facilities.

“At KMTC, we are shaping the future of healthcare by equipping our graduates with the skills, values and professionalism needed to serve with excellence both locally and globally,” Oluoch said.

He said parents and guardians can also be assured that KMTC provides a safe and supportive learning environment rooted in accountability and student welfare.

KMTC advised prospective students to follow its verified social media pages on Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn for accurate updates and official information on admissions.
