Murang’a Seal Football Club has returned to the training pitch following the Christmas break, stepping up preparations as the season enters a decisive phase.

The Murang’a-based team resumes action buoyed by an impressive run of form, having gone seven matches unbeaten, recording two wins and five draws.

Their last appearance before the break was against Mara Sugar, and focus has now shifted to the upcoming league encounter against Mathare United slated for January 10.

There is a confident and upbeat mood in camp, with players keen to build on the momentum and translate consistency into stronger results.

Goalkeeper coach Peter Mwaura said the squad has already developed strong cohesion and believes the team is well-positioned to challenge for the top spot before the end of the season.

Mwaura added that maintaining the unbeaten streak remains a key objective as the league intensifies, with the technical bench demanding disciplined and committed performances.

Team captain Joe Waithira, who currently sits second on the league’s scoring chart with seven goals, said his priority is helping the team achieve its targets while also pushing to finish the campaign as the league’s top scorer.
