Kenyan singer Charisma has sparked concern among fans after revealing he recently underwent surgery, sharing updates from his hospital bed on social media.
Before heading into the procedure, the artist, known for his smooth vocals and laid-back charisma, posted a short but telling message: “Wish the boy luck gang.”
The post immediately drew an outpouring of support from fans and fellow artists, many sending prayers and well wishes ahead of the operation.

Hours later, Charisma returned online to reassure his followers that the surgery had been successful. In his signature playful tone, he wrote, “Msanii ametoka akiimba. Anaesthesia imenilima but ni sawa. Thank you for all the good wishes.” Roughly translated, the singer joked that he came out of surgery “singing,” even though the anesthesia had hit him hard but he was doing okay.

While he did not disclose the exact nature of the surgery, the update was enough to calm nerves among his fanbase, who had been anxiously waiting for news.
