The digital landscape has a clear and undisputed titan. Recent data from February 2026 confirms that Google.com remains the most visited website worldwide, clocking in a staggering 88.46 billion visits.

This dominance is not a new phenomenon; the search engine has held the top spot for over fifteen years, ever since it overtook Yahoo in June 2010 to become the primary entry point for the internet.

Following Google in a distant but solid second place is its sister platform, YouTube.com, which recorded 45.07 billion visits.

Together, these two platforms represent a massive share of total global web traffic. The gap between the top two and the rest of the field is significant. Facebook.com holds the third position with 8.22 billion visits, followed by Instagram at 5.32 billion.

Interestingly, the rise of artificial intelligence is now reflected in these global rankings. ChatGPT.com has secured the fifth spot with 5.19 billion visits, narrowly outpacing established social and information hubs like Reddit, which saw 4.45 billion visits, and Wikipedia at 3.77 billion.

The bottom tier of the top ten is rounded out by adult entertainment site Pornhub at 3.34 billion, the social platform X at 3.28 billion, and the messaging giant Whatsapp.com, which saw 2.49 billion visits.
