Recently, social media was buzzing with screenshots that suggested Zari Hassan was heartbroken over her husband Shakib Cham Lutaaya’s alleged infidelity.
The supposed message from Zari to Shakib expressed her devastation, claiming she found him in their bed with another woman after coming home early to surprise him.
The message seemed to imply that everything they had built together was a lie, with 'Zari' expressing how "shattered" her heart was.
However, Zari was quick to set the record straight, revealing that these screenshots were nothing more than a fabrication.
In a video shared across her platforms, Zari clarified that the statements circulating on social media were entirely made up, with the images created using artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Zari, the fake screenshots were sent to her by multiple people from her home country, all asking if the story was true. She expressed her disbelief over how far people are willing to go to tarnish someone’s reputation with baseless claims.
“Seven people from my country sent me that screenshot asking if it’s true. This is how far AI has gone. It has my name and the verified blue tick, but I didn’t write those words. It’s not true, and I never made such a statement,” she said in the video.
Zari also took the opportunity to warn those responsible for spreading the false narrative. She made it clear that she would not tolerate anyone damaging her reputation and promised to take legal action against bloggers, critics, and anyone else involved.
"People are so desperate for attention that they create lies just to get clicks. It’s a sad reality we live in now, where anyone can wake up and start a rumor. To the TikTokers and bloggers out there, I want to remind you that we have laws. If you keep spreading falsehoods about me, you’ll have to answer for it. I will take legal action, and I won’t accept any apologies," Zari warned.
