Further down the list, the Republic of the Congo and Gabon each produce 0.24 mb/d, reflecting steady but smaller-scale output.

Ghana records 0.18 mb/d, while Chad closes the top producers at 0.13 mb/d.

The data highlights Africa’s continued reliance on oil production as a major economic driver, particularly in West and North Africa.

However, production levels vary significantly across countries due to factors such as investment, infrastructure, and political stability.

Globally, the United States remains far ahead, producing 13.58 million barrels per day, underscoring the gap between African producers and the world’s leading oil exporter.
