
Several Kenyan drivers successfully completed the challenging Safari Rally Kenya 2026, overcoming the rough terrain and unpredictable conditions that define the iconic motorsport event.
Leading the Kenyan finishers was Karan Patel with co-driver Tauseef Khan, who secured position 17 overall after clocking a time of 4:26:54.7 in a Skoda Fabia.
Aakif Virani and co-driver Zahir Shah finished 18th in another Skoda Fabia with a time of 4:43:06.7.
Samman Vohra alongside co-driver Drew Sturrock placed 19th in a Skoda Fabia Evo.
In position 21 were Jasmeet Chana and co-driver Ravinder Chana driving a Ford Fiesta.
Nikhil Sachania with co-driver Deep Patel finished 23rd in a Ford Fiesta Rally 3.
Evans Nzioka and co-driver Absalom Aswani placed 24th driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X.
Despite mechanical retirements affecting several local competitors, these drivers managed to conquer one of the toughest rallies on the World Rally Championship calendar.
