National Super League (NSL) log leaders Mombasa United strengthened their promotion push to the SportPesa League on Sunday with a 2-0 victory over Kabati Youth at Kwale Stadium.

Goals from Fidel Mabea and Samuel Atta in either half sealed the win for Mombasa, who have now won all their second-leg fixtures, signalling their intent as strong NSL title contenders.
Veteran coach Gilbert Selebwa expressed eagerness to make history by guiding the team to the top tier. Following the victory, Mombasa United moved to 52 points at the top of the log.

Second-placed Migori Youth maintained momentum with a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over visiting Soy United. Goals came from Syphas Otieno, Vincent Wanga, and Michael Isabwa for Migori, while Alfred Ratolo and Clinton Orifah scored for Soy United.
