The Ranger on annual leave
Amos Kipngetich Rotich was a forest ranger with the Kenya Forest Service (KFS). He was attached to the Migori Forest Station and worked at the Kehancha outpost.
Amos was originally from Soget Village in Narok County. He was away from his post on annual leave when the helicopter went down at around 5 pm on the fateful day.
The loyal supporter
Wycliffe Rono, often called "SportPesa Rono," was a dedicated supporter of the MP. He held a position at the County Government of Narok within the Office of the Governor.
Rono chose to spend his free time assisting the MP. He was instrumental in planning the legislator's travel and itinerary within the constituency.

The Photographer and the Pilot
Nicholas "Nick" Kosgei was also on board the ill-fated aircraft. He served as a photographer, documenting the MP's work and travels.
At the controls was Captain George Were. He was an experienced aviator who had been entrusted with the safety of the passengers.
As investigations into the cause of the crash continue, the community remembers five men who died alongside their representative while in the line of service or support.
