JobsThe Affordable Housing Board (AHB) has announced a wide-ranging recruitment drive for qualified and competent personnel to fill multiple vacant positions across its departments.
The recruitment advertised on Tuesday on My Gov invites interested candidates to apply for senior, mid-level, and support roles within the organisation.
According to the notice, candidates are expected to submit applications via the AHB online portal, with no physical submissions allowed.
“Interested and eligible candidates may access the detailed job description, specifications and experience required for the position from the AHB’s website https://affordablehousingboard.go.ke/careers or www.acalconsulting.co.ke/careers,” the advertisement read in part.
The job titles include some of the Board’s most senior roles, such as Corporation Secretary (CS) and General Manager, Legal Services, General Manager, Fund Services, General Manager, Project Development (Architect), General Manager, Corporate Services, and General Manager, Internal Audit.
Other managerial positions on offer include Manager, Legal Services, Manager, Home Allocation, Manager, Credit Management, Manager, Investment & Resource Mobilization, Manager, Project Management (Engineer), Manager, Estate Management, Manager, Land Administration, Manager, Supply Chain Management, Manager, HRM and Administration, Manager, ICT, Manager, Accounts & Finance, and Manager, Planning.
The advert also covers mid-level and specialist roles such as Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications, Assistant Manager, Home Finance, Assistant Manager, Investment & Resource Mobilisation, Assistant Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation, Principal Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Principal, HRM and Administration, and Principal Credit Officer.
Additionally, the Board is seeking to fill Principal Records Management Officer, Principal Accountant, Principal Internal Auditor, Senior Supply Chain Management Officer, Senior Projects Management Officer (Urban Planner), Senior Planning Officer, Senior Legal Officer, Senior Investment & Resource Mobilization Officer, Senior Corporate Communications Officer, Credit Officer I, Supply Chain Management Assistant, Record Management Officer I, ICT Officer I, Projects Management Officer I (Quantity Surveyor), Projects Management Officer I (Architect), Office Administrator I, Senior Driver, Projects Management Assistant II (Real Estate), Estate Management Officer II, Land Administration Officer II, Customer Care Assistant II, Accountants Assistant III, Senior Office Assistant, Driver III, and Office Assistant III.
AHB stated that applicants must submit their applications quoting the job reference for the specific position addressed to: The Chairman, Affordable Housing Board (AHB), P.O Box 27521-00100, Nairobi, and all applications must be received by March 17, 2026, at 5 p.m. E.A.T.
“Candidates should submit their applications including the cover letter, copy of National ID, copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials and detailed CV, indicating current position, qualifications, working experience, names of three (3) professional referees, current remuneration and daytime telephone,” AHB stated.
The advert warned that providing incorrect or misleading information constitutes an offence under the Public Officers Ethics Act, 2003, and that any form of canvassing would lead to automatic disqualification.
The Board further emphasised that only shortlisted candidates would be contacted and encouraged people living with disabilities (PLWD) to apply, highlighting its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
AHB stressed that applications lacking the relevant qualifications and supporting documents will not be considered.
AHB further clarified that all roles are open to qualified Kenyan citizens, and the Board remains committed to providing equal opportunities for all candidates.
