The film Sinners emerged as the biggest winner at Sunday’s Actor's awards which was previously known as Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAGs) taking  home top honors for outstanding performances in film and television over the past year.

The 1930s-set vampire thriller claimed the night’s highest accolade for best ensemble cast, while its leading star, Michael B. Jordan, secured the award for best male actor in a film role.

The ceremony,  previously referred to as the SAG Awards, serves as the final major stop before the Academy Awards, scheduled for 15 March. As one of the industry’s key precursors, the results often provide insight into which contenders are gaining momentum ahead of Hollywood’s biggest night.
