
A 60-year-old reveller was found dead in a bar he had been in Enaibelbel, Narok county.
Police said Frank Yaipan was with his brother at the bar when he fell drunk and slept there.
An attendant said the reveller became drunk and was left to sleep therein on February 27.
The attendant said she went to check on him the following day and found him unresponsive.
His body was slammed on the sofa set. Police said the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
In Ololunga, Narok County, one Ogega Mabecha was found lying dead on the roadside after a sudden death.
The body had no visible injuries when it was found and moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
Elsewhere, security agencies were on Friday investigating the burial of an unidentified man in a pit at a homestead in Nyamusi village, Nyamira county.
The incident happened in Nyakenimo, where the body had been buried in a shallow pit behind a construction site.
Locals said the bananas had been planted on the grave to cover up the crime and that it had been there for the past four months.
Police said they anticipated to get an order to exhume the body on February 27, 2026, for identification and investigations.
The motive for the murder of the man is yet to be known.
In Kombewa, Kisumu County, a 30-year-old was found dead after a drowning incident.
Police said the body of Elphas Omondi drowned in Ochiri stream in unclear circumstances.
A team that was sent to the area said the body had been at the scene for at least two days. He is said to have drowned as he fetched water from the stream on February 27.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations, police said.
And a man who had been assaulted at his workplace in Gatundu, Kiambu county succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Police said they are now investigating a murder in the incident where Michael Warui, 30, died in hospital on February 28, 2026, after his assault on January 30 at the workplace.

Murder incidents have been on the rise amid efforts to solve them, police said.
Up to eight cases are reported daily, and most of them are pending under probe for now.
