Families exploring international education options will have an opportunity to meet global school representatives when ISEF Africa hosts its 17th International Schools Fair in Nairobi and Mombasa this year.
The event will take place February 28 to March 1, 2026, at The Hub Karen before heading to Serena Hotel Mombasa on March 14, 2026.
Organisers say the fair is designed to connect parents and students with leading day and boarding schools, universities and international education service providers from Africa, Europe, Canada and the United States.
ISEF Africa describes itself as East Africa’s leading international education platform, bringing together institutions offering British, American, International Baccalaureate and Canadian curricula.

“Parents and students will have opportunities to engage with school heads and admissions teams, gather information about scholarships and entry requirements, and learn about boarding and summer programs,” the organisers said in a statement.
The event will also provide guidance on university progression pathways across Africa, Europe and North America, as well as information on opportunities from preschool through pre-university levels.

Beyond academic planning, the fair is designed as a family-friendly event. Activities are expected to include art exhibitions, book displays, virtual reality experiences, ballet and Afro dance performances, music, food vendors, raffles and children’s entertainment.
“The goal is to create a welcoming environment that combines education planning with a community-focused experience. In addition to serving families, the International Schools Fair is positioned as a strategic platform for sponsors and exhibitors,” they added.
Participating organizations are expected to include international schools and universities, education consultants and placement agencies, financial and wealth service providers, publishers and manufacturers, fast-moving consumer goods brands targeting families, elocation companies, education technology innovators and youth-focused brands.
Organisers say exhibitors benefit from direct access to families actively considering international education pathways.
The event also offers brand visibility through integrated marketing campaigns, media coverage, digital promotions and on-site engagement. For institutions seeking to expand their presence in East Africa, the fair provides insights into a growing market with increasing demand for global curricula.
The Nairobi edition underscores Kenya’s position as a regional hub for international engagement and education.
By attracting institutions, partners and visitors, the event is expected to contribute to tourism and hospitality sectors while reinforcing the country’s role as a gateway to East Africa’s education market.
Hosting the fair in both Nairobi and Mombasa is intended to broaden access and economic participation. While the capital remains a central hub for international organizations and schools, the coastal event allows families and stakeholders outside Nairobi to engage directly with global institutions.
Following the Kenya events, ISEF Africa plans to continue its regional expansion across East Africa.
Upcoming fairs are scheduled for May 24, 2026, at Serena Hotel Dar es Salaam; June 20, 2026, at Serena Hotel Kigali; Oct. 10, 2026, at Serena Hotel Kampala; and Nov. 27–28, 2026, at Trade Mark Hotel Nairobi.
