
A recent report by the Public Service Commission highlights a significant ethnic concentration within Kenya’s State Corporation boards. As of December 2025, out of 1,936 total posts, two ethnic groups hold nearly 40% of all top positions.
The Kikuyu lead with 445 posts, followed by the Kalenjin with 316. Other major groups represented include the Luo (207), Luhya (197), Kamba (141), and Kisii (124).
