While the 2027 General Election is still over a year away, the "celebrity-to-politician" pipeline in Kenya is heating up.

Several female public figures have either explicitly declared their interest or dropped heavy hints during interviews and social media live sessions.

Here is a look at the Kenyan female celebrities eyeing political seats in 2027:

Corazon Kwamboka

The fitness influencer and Advocate of the High Court has frequently hinted at a political future. Given her legal background, fans have long speculated she would run for a parliamentary seat or a Women's Representative position.

During a recent interview with Alex Mwakideu TV, Kwamboka expressed a serious interest in running for the Nairobi Women Representative seat in the 2027 general election.

Kwamboka feels that current representatives are often more associated with scandals than with substantive work. She believes her life experiences—as a single mother raising two children and a businesswoman who built her success without external help—give her a unique understanding of the "real struggles" women face.

Comedian Jemutai

The Churchill Show comedienne has openly expressed her desire to represent her people. In past interviews, she hinted at a run for the Woman Representative seat in her home county of Elgeyo Marakwet.

She shared a campaign-style poster on her Instagram page in December 2025, featuring herself holding a traditional gourd and smiling, with the slogan: “I Understand Women Better.”

Justina Syokau

The "2020" hitmaker is never shy about her ambitions. She has expressed interest in the Machakos Woman Representative seat. Syokau often incorporates her political aspirations into her viral songs and social media antics, promising to bring "musical energy" to the ballot in 2027.

Speaking during an interview with a local media station on, January 15, 2025, Syokau said her ambition is rooted in a desire to give back to the people of Machakos County.

She reiterated on the same early this week via a video on her social media pages.
