Kenya Airways has advised passengers of flight delays of up to four hours for departures from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) due to operational delays in air traffic control.
The airline said it had adjusted its network in response to the disruptions and is working closely with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and other airport stakeholders to minimise the impact on travellers while maintaining safe operations.
“Passengers are advised to expect schedule adjustments,” Kenya Airways stated, urging travellers to check flight status before heading to the airport and to monitor official communication channels for updates. Rebooking options are available through the airline’s mobile app or website.
Customers needing assistance can contact Kenya Airways’ Customer Excellence team via mobile at +254 711 024 747, WhatsApp at +254 705 474 747, or on X @KQSupport.
The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience and reaffirmed that the safety, security, and comfort of passengers remain its top priority. Updates will continue to be shared through official channels as the situation develops.
