Social media personality Pritty Vishy has opened up about her decision to undergo significant cosmetic surgery.

In an exclusive conversation with Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi, the content creator revealed that her choice was driven by a deep desire to change her self-perception.

Vishy, who first rose to fame during her publicised relationship with musician Stevo Simple Boy, has since established herself as an independent influencer. However, behind the bold online persona, she admitted to struggling with her body image.

Seeking a New Confidence

During the interview, Vishy was candid about the emotional motivations behind her physical transformation. She explained that the primary driver was not external pressure, but a personal need to feel better about her appearance.

"I just wanted to boost my confidence. I wanted to feel sexy... I wanted to feel myself and look good for myself."

Vishy teased that her confidence has since improved, saying that if anyone wants to lower her self-esteem, they’ll have to work really hard to achieve it.

“Right now, lowering my self-esteem, you’ll have to pay in pounds, even dollars won’t work,” she added.

She clarified that she underwent several procedures, including a tummy tuck and Liposuction 360, as part of a broader weight loss journey. These efforts, combined with lifestyle changes, resulted in a significant weight loss of 40kg.

The Reality of Recovery

While the results have changed her silhouette, Vishy warned that the process is far from easy. She noted that while the surgery itself is managed, the aftermath is a different story.

"The surgery itself is not painful, but the healing process is painful," she explained.

The financial investment was also substantial. Vishy revealed that she spent approximately KSh 1.1 to 1.2 million on the procedures and necessary check-ups. Despite the cost and the physical toll, she described the world of cosmetic enhancement as "addictive".

Family and Secrecy

Interestingly, Vishy chose to keep her surgery a secret from her family until after the fact. She did not tell her mother about the procedures beforehand, leading to an emotional confrontation when they finally met.

"When I saw my mum, I cried," Vishy shared, noting that her mother initially felt sorry for the pain she had endured.

However, her mother eventually became supportive of the transformation, with Vishy stating that she "really loves my body right now 100%".

Moving Forward

Aside from her physical changes, Vishy remains a frequent topic of conversation due to her resemblance to others in the industry. She noted that she is often compared to the Tanzanian star Harmonize, a comparison she embraces by calling herself the "lady version" of the singer.
