Chief Officer for Business and Hustler Opportunities Lydia Mathia noted that the system is designed to support entrepreneurs by saving time and reducing uncertainty.

Director of Liquor Licensing Rhoda Otieno confirmed that backend systems have been synchronised to allow real-time inspections, approvals and tracking across all sub-counties, ensuring quicker turnaround times for compliant applicants.
The digital shift is part of Governor Johnson Sakaja’s broader push to modernise city services, curb corruption and make Nairobi a more business-friendly city through technology.
Nairobi City County Government officials, members of the county liquor board and sub-county administrators have been convening in meetings this week for intensive training on the new system.
The sessions aim to equip licensing officers with the technical and administrative skills needed to transition from paper-based processes to a seamless, end-to-end digital workflow.
