In an official statement dated 24 January 2026, Ruth K announced that she is no longer associated with Ann Waithera, popularly known as The Bush Tailor, and any related businesses or individuals.
Ruth K said the relationship began as a friendship after they worked out together, but later ended on “unfavorable terms.”
Phone Loan Turns Into Alleged Account Interference
Ruth K revealed that she had lent a phone after she said she had lost hers and needed to communicate with clients.
Ruth K claimed the phone had access to her accounts and email, and that Waithera took advantage of this access. “Acting in good faith, I provided her with an extra phone as it was,” Ruth K said in the statement.

She explained that her son’s accounts were changed, leaving her with “complete loss of access.”

Ownership of IPhone 14Changed Without Consent
Ruth K also claimed that the ownership of an iPhone 14 she had helped Waithera obtain was transferred without her knowledge, making it impossible for her to repossess the device.
“Yesterday I also learned that the ownership of my iPhone 14 that I had helped her has been changed, meaning I can’t repossess it,” she said.
No Further Relationship or Collaboration
The statement ended with Ruth K emphasizing that she had no ongoing relationship, collaboration, or involvement with The Bush Tailor or any related activities.
Tailor Bush Responds to Allegations
In response to Ruth K’s accusations of social media account interference, Ann Waithera, popularly known as Tailor Bush, offered her side of the story, claiming the situation was purely technical and occurred during a device transition.
Technical Transfer, Not Sabotage
Waithera explained that she had been struggling without a phone and was eventually financed for a new device. During the process of transferring her data, she said she could not leave her information on the old phone.
“I cannot leave my things on the other phone guys,” she said, describing the transition process.
She claimed that during this technical process, she and her personal assistant (PA) unintentionally “interfered with Galvo’s account,” which she insists was not intentional.

Denying Malicious Intent
Waithera explicitly denied any malicious intent regarding the social media profiles, asserting, “I don't need her account. I am not that mean person.”
To support her statement, she said she had evidence showing she was not attempting to sabotage Ruth K’s account.
“I have a screenshot of me logging out her account, her main account,” she said.
Public Image and Personal Boundaries
Ann addressed public criticism and urged the public not to judge her based on online comments. She said she had worked hard for her career since high school and insisted that her actions were driven by professionalism and care for the brand.
