DCP Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has reaffirmed his commitment to continuous engagement with party members.

On Monday, the former Deputy President held discussions with aspirants for various elective positions in Nyeri County at the Wamunyoro home.

Gachagua said the meeting focused on enhancing membership recruitment ahead of the party primaries, which he emphasised will be free and fair.

“We have committed to work hard in popularising our party to ensure we win all the seats in the General Elections slated for next year, from Governor, Senator, Women Representative, six Members of the National Assembly, and 30 Members of the County Assembly,” he stated.

The party leader also announced new dates for public rallies in Othaya and Kieni, which were aborted the previous day after interference with party vehicles and demobilised sound systems.

Gachagua affirmed that DCP remains the party of choice in Nyeri County and across the country, underlining the party’s strategic focus on grassroots mobilisation and unity ahead of the 2026 general elections.
