Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru’s son, Ian Waiguru, got engaged to Joan in a colourful ceremony over the weekend.

The celebration, attended by family and close friends, featured prayers, laughter and speeches. 

The décor, themed pink and white, created a festive and elegant atmosphere.

Following the ceremony, Waiguru posted an emotional speech expressing joy and pride over the milestone.

“Ian, with joy and gratitude, we celebrate this beautiful milestone in your life. Your engagement to Joan is not only a union of hearts but also a promise of a shared future built on love, respect and faith,” she said.
