Entrepreneur Khalif Kairo has revealed that the most he has ever spent on a woman ranges between KES 300,000 ($2,326) and KES 400,000 ($3,101), shedding light on the financial realities of his past relationships.
Speaking during a recent interview with content creator Mr. Mombasa, Kairo shared the disclosure while reflecting on modern dating, money, friendships and faith, offering a candid look into how personal relationships intersect with wealth and evolving social expectations.
Reflections on Modern Dating
Kairo said he believes dating in the current generation has become more complicated due to shifting social expectations.
According to him, traditional gender roles have changed significantly, creating challenges for both men and women. "It's hard to be a man and it's hard to be feminine as a lady," he stated.
He argued that these changes have made it difficult for men to assert what he described as traditional masculinity, while women also face pressure navigating altered expectations of femininity.

During the discussion, Kairo described the current generation of men as “weak” and suggested that some women display unpredictable behavior. "I think men are weak and um a lot of women nowadays are also bit crazy," he argued.
He presented these views as observations shaped by his personal experiences rather than fixed conclusions.
Financial Experiences in Relationships
When asked about money in his past relationships, Kairo stated that he does not usually track how much he spends on a partner.
However, he recalled a specific situation in which he spent between KSh300,000 and KSh400,000 on a woman.
He did not provide further details on the circumstances, but the comment highlighted the financial demands he believes often accompany modern relationships.

Addressing his current romantic situation, Kairo described his relationship status as “complicated.” He said his past experiences have shaped how he now views emotional dynamics between men and women.
According to Kairo, men should focus on fulfilling their responsibilities without expecting appreciation in return. "you need to keep it very close because um in this world money determines a lot of things," he said.
He advised men to approach relationships with logic rather than emotion, suggesting that emotional detachment helps navigate what he described as emotional volatility.
Kairo remarked that men should accept these dynamics as part of relationships, stating that appreciation often comes late, if at all.

Kairo also addressed ongoing public speculation linking him romantically to businesswoman Foina. He clarified that the two share a close friendship, describing her as his “good friend.”
He emphasized that their relationship is rooted in mutual respect and professional admiration, dismissing romantic claims that frequently surface online.
Faith, Money and Personal Regret
Beyond relationships, Kairo spoke about the role of money and faith in his life. He stated that financial stability plays a major role in modern society, noting that money influences many aspects of daily living.
Despite his focus on wealth, Kairo said his greatest daily challenge is spiritual. He described the struggle of trying to live in a way that pleases God while recognizing human imperfection.
He concluded the interview by stating that his biggest regret is not having known God earlier in life.
