The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) has announced that the April 2026 examinations will be conducted over a period of four days.

This is from Monday, April 20, to Thursday, April 23, 2026.

According to a notice from the board published on Tuesday, students, parents, sponsors, guardians, training institutions, and other stakeholders are urged to take note of the scheduled dates and plan accordingly.

“Candidates are advised to make early arrangements, including seeking permission from employers where applicable, to ensure that they sit for the examinations,” the notice reads.

The April 2026 examinations will cover a wide range of qualifications, including Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS), Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD), Diploma in Data Management and Analytics (DDMA), Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA), and Diploma in Quality Management (DQM).

Other professional courses to be examined include Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Secretaries (CS), Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA), Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert (CISSE), Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner (CFFE), and Certified Public Finance Manager (CPFM).

Vocational courses such as VCEI, VCGD, VCICS and VCBCT, as well as procurement and supply courses including Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K) and Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K), are also included.

The Certified Quality Professional (CQP), Business Data Analytics Practical Paper for CPA and Financial Modelling and Data Analytics Practical Paper for CIFA will also be administered within the period.

Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ) are scheduled specifically for Tuesday, 21 April, and Thursday, 23 April 2026.

The closing date for registration and examination entry is Friday, March 20, 2026.

The board has made the qualifications brochure accessible for free via its website www.kasneb.or.ke.

The brochures can also be obtained from KASNEB offices, Huduma Centres in Nairobi, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Nyeri, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kitale, Kakamega, Meru and Thika.

Interested candidates can also pick them at Kenya National Library Service branches and through training institutions offering KASNEB courses.

Payment for examination fees can be made via the student portal at https://online.kasneb.or.ke or, for students outside Kenya, through KCB Dollar Account No. 1123096465.

KASNEB clarified that cash payments or payments through staff members or agents are not accepted.

“Students are advised to utilise the above payment channels. Please note that no payment shall be made through any member of staff or agent of KASNEB. Cash payments will not be accepted at KASNEB offices,” the notice states.

“Students based outside Kenya/Foreign students are advised to pay the applicable fees in US dollar.”

All continuing students are required to renew their annual registration by July 1, each year, while new students must note that annual registration fees are due on July 1, following their first examination sitting and annually thereafter.
