The Challenge of Public Vulnerability

Azziad acknowledged that she has been open about her mental health challenges, including moments when she nearly fell into depression. She admitted that sharing these struggles with the public was not easy. 

She described a tendency to postpone seeking professional help, noting, “You postpone, you're like next month, next month, next month.”

Azziad highlighted the public’s limited readiness to engage in honest conversations about mental health, stating, “I think issues mental health are also things that I don't think people are ready to talk about… they want to reduce mental health into what they think you are going through.”

Her therapist encouraged her to speak out, reinforcing the importance of letting others know they are not alone.

The Paradox of Celebrity Expectations

The content creator also addressed the pressures of social media and public life. She compared her experiences to that of Regina Daniels, noting that while public figures are often criticized for flaunting success, they are equally criticized when they show vulnerability or pain.

This creates a difficult environment where it is hard to win public favor regardless of what is shared.

Azziad reflected on how relationships shift with changes in status, explaining, “I think one of the lessons that I've learned: people will change in the direction of your misfortunes and fortunes.

The people who are are not your friends but when everything is right they want to be associated. The minute it goes left, it's weird. She also commented on the challenges of personal growth under public scrutiny:

“It's quite unfortunate or fortunate that you get to learn and make mistakes in front of the public.”

Journey Through 2024 and 2025

Azziad described 2024 as a particularly challenging year, a period where she felt completely overwhelmed and tested in her faith.

During that time, even her prayers were filled with frustration rather than the calm communication she now experiences. “I was in the gutters… I was mad. It was crazy,” she said,

Looking ahead to 2025, she expressed gratitude and optimism, seeing the year as the aftermath of the previous struggles.

Her life is gradually improving, and she is focusing on self-care and personal growth, taking each day as an opportunity to be kinder to herself.
