December 21 marks a special day for President William Ruto as he celebrates his 59th birthday.

The day has drawn an outpouring of goodwill messages from political leaders across the country.

The tributes, shared early Sunday morning, saw several leaders praise President Ruto’s leadership, express their faith in his stewardship, and voice optimism about Kenya’s future under his administration.

Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano praised the President’s role in revitalising the tourism sector, noting that his policies have contributed to the industry.

"“Happy Birthday, H.E. President William Ruto. Your visionary leadership has fuelled Kenya’s tourism boom — more visitors, more jobs for the youth and empowered communities,” Miano said.

She wished him continued progress and impact in the year ahead.

Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura also sent a faith-based message, wishing the Head of State a happy birthday and praying for divine guidance and protection.

Mwaura said President Ruto’s leadership remains critical as the country navigates economic and social challenges, adding that Kenyans continue to look up to him for steady leadership.

"May our dear Lord continue to guide and protect you as you serve and lead this great country Kenya," he said.

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru joined other leaders in extending warm wishes, expressing hope that the President’s new year would be marked by clarity of vision, resilience, and continued service to the nation.

She noted that leadership at the highest level requires resolve and focus, particularly at a time when the country is implementing major reforms.

"Warm birthday wishes to H.E. President William Ruto. May the year ahead be filled with clarity of vision, resilience in leadership, and continued service to our great nation," she shared.

Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei used his message to underline the President’s development agenda, expressing confidence that under Ruto’s leadership, Kenya is on a transformative path.

The senator reiterated his belief that the President’s economic and governance policies would propel the country toward greater prosperity, describing the development journey as unstoppable.

Kakamega Governor Ferdinand Barasa echoed similar sentiments, wishing the President good health, wisdom, and strength.

Barasa said Ruto’s leadership continues to inspire hope and unity, emphasising the importance of cohesion as the country pursues its development goals.

"Happy Birthday, President William Ruto. May your leadership continue to inspire hope and unity, and God grant you strength, wisdom, and good health as you lead Kenya forward," he said.
