Popular content creator Andrew Kibe has offered a candid explanation for the failure of his past marriages.

He spoke during an interview on the Netwalking podcast, hosted by Wilbroda, which was recorded at the Nairobi Jaffrey Sports Club.

Kibe is known as a very controversial figure in society. He is a person who is loved and hated in equal measure.

The Candid Confession

The former radio host explained that he was simply not built for traditional marriage. He revealed that he is too free a spirit to have been a married man.

He stated that he should have recognised this fact much earlier in his life. He regretted wasting time, both his and his partners’, by getting into what he now calls "stupid relationships".

Kibe clarified that his dislike of commitment runs deep. He compared commitment to being forced to eat at a single restaurant forever.

"I'm too free of a spirit to have been a married man. I should have known that earlier, then I wouldn't have wasted their time and my time getting into stupid relationships,” he said.

Looking Back at His Relationships

When discussing his past, Kibe admitted he had married twice. He made it clear he would "rather die first" than marry again.

The conversation touched upon who was responsible for the breakdown of his first relationship. Kibe said he took a big part of the blame.

However, he immediately retracted this statement. He corrected himself by saying the union wasn't a marriage, but rather a stay.

He then placed the blame squarely on the woman involved. He said she was the one who messed up, claiming he was a good man.

“It wasn't a marriage, it was a stay. Even me in my stay, she's the one who messed up, I was a good man,” he said.

He defined a good man as one who provides and is not violent, except every now and then.

Societal Views and Current Focus

Kibe used the interview to share his strong views on family structures and societal decline. He highlighted what he calls the "single mother pandemic".

He provided statistics linking single-mother homes to crime. He claimed that 70% of men in correctional facilities are from single-mother homes.

Furthermore, he asserted that 99.9% of all prostitutes are from single-parent homes. Kibe believes a strong man is necessary in a child's upbringing.

Kibe is currently focused on promoting his new book, 28 Commandments: A Journey into Manhood. He is travelling the country on a 70-day book tour to promote the work.

Kibe said that this new project is now his "media," his "radio station," and his "everything".
