Socialite Risper Faith has publicly taken credit for encouraging many Kenyan women to embrace cosmetic surgery.
Speaking in a video clip, the former Nairobi Diaries cast member expressed happiness that more female celebrities are now openly choosing body-sculpting procedures.
The Claim to Be First
Risper asserted that she was the first celebrity in Kenya to openly discuss her own cosmetic procedure journey. She claimed that she came out with her story about cosmetic procedures before anyone else.

She stated that she is now very happythat she has encouraged many women to come forward and embrace the procedures.
“Of all the celebrities in Kenya, I am the one who came out with my story about cosmetic procedures,” Faith stated.

She believes that women are now refusing to look like their male relatives, saying that women are choosing to "contour the body" and "shine".
She explicitly mentioned women refusing to look like their fathers, brothers, or uncles.
“Saa hizi nimefurahi nime encourage wanawake wengi wamejitokeza saa hii wame embrace. Watu wamekataa kuanza kufanana na baba zao, ndugu zao, na uncle zao. Wasichana wameamua kuchonga mwili.”

Risper’s Own Public Journey
Risper Faith has been publicly transparent about her cosmetic enhancements for several years.
One of the earliest instances she made clear about her procedure was when she spoke about undergoing liposuction to regain her hourglass figure after pregnancy.
In reports, she disclosed that she spent KSh 450,000 for the procedure. During this surgery, a cosmetic surgeon removed eight litres of fat from her tummy and lower back.
She revealed the initial fear surrounding the procedure but stated she gathered her courage for the results.
Speaking on Procedures and Costs
Faith has also been vocal about the financial aspects and even the risks involved in cosmetic enhancements. She has spoken about spending millions on cosmetic surgery, as well as undergoing a hair transplant.
She once discussed complications from a previous cosmetic surgery, noting that she was grateful for her doctors' work, stating she "could’ve died" but was now well.
"I don't regret doing my surgery. I did not have any self-esteem issues; I just wanted my dress to look good," she clarified.

Another notable instance where she openly discussed the topic was in November 2021. Faith made headlines when she exposed a fellow celebrity for allegedly failing to pay a Kenyan cosmetic surgery company after receiving a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) and fat transfer to the hips.

This incident further solidified her position as an open advocate for the procedures, even referencing costs, such as the KSh 850,000 charged to the celebrity who reportedly failed to uphold a promotional agreement.
In her recent comments, Faith dismissed critics in the comment sections who judge women for getting procedures. She suggested that the only difference between critics and those who have procedures is money.
"If you get money, you will also 'construct' yourself," she declared.
She stressed that life is short and should be enjoyed.
