Kenyan rapper and entrepreneur KRG The Don has sparked fresh conversation online after flaunting a large amount of cash in response to critics who claimed he was broke.
In a video circulating on social media, the artist is seen holding stacks of money while addressing those questioning his financial status.
KRG dismissed the rumours, maintaining that wealth has always been part of his identity. “Nilizaliwa nikiwa tajiri na nitakufa tajiri zaidi,” he said confidently. He also cautioned people against associating his name with poverty: “Apana ongeza jina ya umaskini ndani… usiwai sema unaeza write off KRG.”
In the clip, KRG encouraged critics to focus on their own goals instead of attacking him, saying, “Nilizaliwa nikiwa tajiri na nitakufa kama nikiwa tajiri mkubwa… amka, tia bidii, focus.”
