Popular comedian and content creator Mulamwah (David Oyando) provided a humorous and relatable take on bachelorhood after finding himself surrounded by couples at a high-profile event.
The comedian, who is currently single, attended the launch of Urban Wheels on Sunday, 23 November, and shared photos illustrating his situation, which quickly went viral.
The Solo Standout
The content creator shared a photo showing him seated at a table with renowned entertainment journalist Presenter Kai and his wife, Diana Yegon.

The trio appeared relaxed, with Kai seated next to his wife and Mulamwah positioned on the outside.
In a poignant caption accompanying the photo, Mulamwah expressed a hopeful wish for his own future:
"Sawa tu, aliye juu anaona … soon nitabarikiwa pia. Type amen nitapata my wife pia." (It's okay, the one above sees... soon I will be blessed too. Type amen and I will also get my wife.)
The public prayer acknowledged his desire to settle down, contrasting his current single status with the domestic bliss enjoyed by his friends.
A Case of Third-Wheeling
Mulamwah’s plight was further highlighted by a subsequent picture where he posed with another influential couple, Director Trevor and his partner, Kikilove Yvonne.
The photos, taken against a branded backdrop, show Director Trevor and Kikilove posing intimately in matching Arabic-inspired attire.
Mulamwah, standing alone in a smart suit, struck a pose to the side, looking somewhat left out of the affectionate moment.

Mulamwah’s caption for this set of photos leaned into the comedic element of the scenario:
"Next time sikuji solo ?" (Next time I won't come solo.)

Another post cheekily captioned one of the images with: "Nkt hata hawakai poa ??" (Nkt, they don't even look good ??), a classic defence mechanism of a person momentarily feeling out of place.
Background on Mulamwah's Recent Breakup
Mulamwah’s current status as a bachelor is still fresh in the minds of his fans, following his recent and highly publicised breakup with his ex-partner, Ruth K.
The separation, which occurred around April 2025, was messy and played out largely on social media.
The couple exchanged public accusations and counter-accusations, detailing the difficulties that led to the end of their relationship. The dramatic split dominated online headlines for several weeks.
Mulamwah's posts from the Urban Wheels launch, therefore, carry an underlying emotional context, showing him navigating the social scene for the first time since the very nasty and public end of his last serious relationship.
