Tash’s Heartfelt Promises to Betty Bayo’s Children Sky & Danny During Memorial Service

Hiram Gitau, widely known as Tash, delivered an emotional tribute to his late wife, Betty Bayo, during her memorial service held at CFF Church in Kiambu town.

Speaking as the "husband to Betty Bayo," Tash offered thanks to supporters and made solemn vows regarding the future of the children, Sky and Danny.

A Plea for Prayer

At the beginning of his address, Tash expressed gratitude for the collective support and prayers received during a difficult time. He acknowledged that the recent events were "not an easy thing".

He then made a simple yet profound request to the congregation:

“We really need your prayers. That's the only request I have from you guys.”

Vows to His Wife and Children

Addressing his tribute to his late wife, Tash described their relationship as extraordinary, calling it not just love but a turning point, a divine interruption, and a "second chance that God placed gently in our hands".

He reflected on how they built a life together, stitched with "laughter, prayer, courage, and moments that still glow in my heart".

The couple formalised their union during a Kikuyu traditional wedding on 17 December 2021. Tash stated that marrying Bayo meant joining his life with "a soul filled with purpose, warmth, compassion".

Tash dedicated a significant portion of his tribute to his commitment to the children, including Sky.

He described the home they built as one "filled with laughter, prayer, healing, and hope," where every corner carried Bayo's "softness, your wisdom, your music, your prayers whispered over us at night".

An Eternal Commitment

Hiram Gitau promised to honour everything Betty Bayo had instilled and dreamed for her children.

He spoke directly about his unwavering protection and love for the children, cementing a future where their mother’s light continues through them:

“Everything you dream for them. Everything you instilled in them, I will honor.”

Tash assured the attendees and his late wife that he would ensure their needs were met. He promised that the children would remain the centre of his devotion.

“They will be loved fiercely, protected always. Nothing they desire, nothing they hope for will go uncommitted or undone.”

Tash concluded his tribute by honouring his wife not just with tears, but with deep gratitude for having chosen and blessed his life.

He vowed that her love would remain his "compass, my comfort and my eternal treasure". He promised to honour her memory in the life he lives, in the children they raised, and in a love that "will never end".
