Speaking during the Farmers Choice event, Amber said ''she would have quit if she were in the same category as Africanah, acknowledging that people love her and there is no way to compete with her.''

Amber expressed surprise at how people reacted after Africanah won in the Pulse Awards, describing her daughter as a blessing in the family’s life. “She is like a mature woman, and we connect a lot,” Amber said.
