Kenyan content creator Diaso has shared a heartfelt reflection on his life’s journey, recounting how he rose from humble beginnings to achieve stability and fulfillment through digital content creation.

In an earlier post, Diaso opened up about his struggles, his early work experiences, and how he built his name in the online space while pursuing his passion.

He revealed that his journey into content creation began in 2020, at a time when he was juggling manual jobs during the day and recording videos at night.

“I used to work in jua kali jobs during the day and then make two videos at night,” he said.

Despite the exhaustion, Diaso remained committed to building his online presence, believing that consistency would eventually pay off.

From Garbage Collection to Digital Growth

Before gaining recognition as a content creator, Diaso worked in garbage collection from 2019 until 2023. He described this period as one of the most challenging phases of his life but also one that built his resilience.

“Many people don’t know that I was still collecting garbage last year,” he revealed in the video.

He explained that the work was physically demanding and poorly paying. “Sometimes, we were a group and would earn KSh 800, which we had to divide. That’s not much, and it was what I expected to earn by the end of the month,” Diaso said.

The financial strain and long hours eventually pushed him to pursue his creative ambitions full-time.

Diaso’s recent post highlighted how his life has changed since those difficult days. He said that content creation not only provides him with financial stability but also gives him a sense of purpose.

“I find content creation more fulfilling compared to the hardships I faced in the past,” he shared.

He noted that; ''It all started with a vision and working towards it,,, God first, working hard and smart, faith, patience and discipline.... Forever greatful.''
