Commercial banks with the lowest lending interest rates

Citibank N.A. Kenya has had the lowest average lending interest rate at 9.62 per cent as of September 2025.

It is followed closely by Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited at 11.98 per cent and Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited at 12.73 per cent.

Other banks with competitive rates include Ecobank Kenya Limited 13.10 per cent and Guardian Bank Limited 13.53 per cent.
