Addressing a crowd in Malava, Kakamega County, the President dismissed his current opponents, suggesting they lack the necessary foresight or agenda to challenge him effectively.

Uniting for Development

President Ruto also touched upon his efforts to unite the nation, stressing that his administration has partnered with leaders who were previously affiliated with the opposition Azimio coalition.

He specifically mentioned Oparanya and Baraza, noting that while they were Azimio members, they possessed vision.

The leaders have agreed to cooperate and work together to avoid conflict. The goal of forming a broad government is to eliminate tribalism, hatred, division, and discrimination.

According to Ruto, this cooperation ensures that when the government plans for development, those plans benefit all of Kenya.

The President asked the people of Kakamega to agree to cooperate and unite. He concluded by emphasising the importance of working together.
