Kibera-bred rapper Stevo Simple Boy has announced ambitious plans to document the most intimate details of his life with his heavily pregnant wife, Brenda Ochieng.
The popular musician, often referred to as 'The Dragon of Africa,' revealed that their entire relationship journey, including the birth of their first child, will be shared with fans.
The couple made the revelations during their recent appearance on the Alex Mwakideu TV podcast.

A Private Wedding Goes Public
Stevo Simple Boy and Brenda confirmed they recently held a private wedding ceremony.
Although Stevo initially suggested a recent photo shoot was merely a publicity stunt ("kiki") for his new song, "Fanana," Brenda affirmed that the wedding was real.
The couple promised that footage of the private ceremony, which included a pastor and a few guests, would be released publicly soon after the interview.
"It was a private wedding. There is a pastor you will see tomorrow, there are a few people."
Stevo Simple Boy, known for hit songs like "Mihadarati", explained that they are managed by one person, making their working group small and peaceful (a team of three).

Documenting the Dragon Baby
Brenda is expected to give birth imminently, possibly within the next few weeks. The couple has already confirmed the gender of the baby: it is a boy.
The child will be named Brandon Adera. Stevo explained that "Adera" is his father’s name.

The entire journey of the pregnancy and birth will be documented. Stevo has vowed to be present during the birth, even planning to cut the umbilical cord.
“I will be there, I will be there inside.”
This comprehensive documentation will be shared on their YouTube channel, "Simple Boy Creatives".

Prioritising Privacy for Their Son
Despite documenting the birth and the early stages of the child’s life, the couple plans to keep the baby offline initially. Brenda specifically stated they will not reveal the baby’s face immediately.
They explained that they want to shield the child from potential negativity and harassment often found on social media.
“For us, after the child is born, we will remove him from social media for a bit… so that people do not start giving him names when he is young.”
The face will only be revealed after the child is older, perhaps after a few months, when they feel ready.
A Foundation Built on Honesty
Stevo and Brenda first connected after the rapper live-streamed her on TikTok. Brenda admitted she had been a fan of the artist since high school.

Stevo was open with Brenda from the start about his life as an artist and content creator. He cautioned her that financial success is inconsistent, explaining: "Sometimes money comes, sometimes money doesn't come".
Brenda appreciated his honesty and humility. She accepted his terms, telling him she was ready for the commitment. They are currently focusing heavily on content creation together, rather than music.
