[PHOTOS] Ruto steps out in full military uniform to mark KDF day

President William Ruto on Tuesday stepped out in full military uniform to mark the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Day at the Moi Barack’s, Eldoret.

The day is marked on October 14, each year.

The President who is seen walking donned the uniform as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Kenya.

This is also the first time Ruto has donned military uniform

KDF Day serves as a reminder of the military’s mission to protect and serve all Kenyans, demonstrating that true strength lies in compassion and community engagement.

“We celebrate our soldiers, the heartbeat of our defence and the driving force behind national development.”

The day is partly used to showcase KDF’s dedication to community service, affirming that military strength goes hand in hand with support for the most vulnerable.
