Christ Is the Answer Ministries has announced a fresh round of recruitment across several key departments, inviting applications from qualified, born-again Christians to join its education and logistics teams.
The church, which runs multiple ministries, schools, and media arms across the country, is seeking Junior school teachers, a lab technician, and both bus and truck drivers to support its expanding operations.
Applicants for all positions must be born-again Christians who conform to Citam’s statement of faith.
Junior School Teachers
Citam is seeking experienced, self-driven Junior school teachers committed to nurturing learners on a foundation of Christian values.
The successful candidates will be responsible for educating and developing learners to become holistic, responsible and competitive citizens.
Reporting to the Principal, the teachers will plan, prepare and deliver lessons under the Competency-Based Education (CBE), develop schemes of work and lesson plans, assess and monitor learners’ progress and provide support where needed.
They will also maintain discipline, create positive learning environments, engage in co-curricular activities and collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote the overall development of learners.
A bachelor’s degree in education (secondary option) is required, with a minimum KCSE grade of C+.
A Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and CBC training certification are added advantages.
Candidates should be able to teach at least two subjects, have at least five years of teaching experience, and be registered by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in good standing.
Lab Technician
The ministry is also hiring a lab technician to support its schools in facilitating a safe and conducive learning environment within the science laboratories.
Reporting to the Principal, the position involves managing the laboratory, maintaining records of reagents and equipment and supporting teachers during practical sessions.
The technician will be expected to prepare reagents before lessons, supervise learners during experiments, ensure proper storage and maintenance of apparatus and keep accurate stock records.
They will also be responsible for liaising with academic staff on laboratory needs, coordinating repairs and staying abreast of technical and scientific advances.
A diploma in Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognised institution is required, with at least three years of relevant experience.
Applicants should demonstrate patience, teamwork, adaptability and a genuine interest in learners’ well-being.
School Bus Drivers
Citam is further seeking qualified bus drivers to facilitate the safe and timely transport of learners and staff.
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Officer, the drivers will ensure adherence to designated routes and schedules, maintain clean and orderly vehicles and communicate effectively with learners, parents and school staff.
They will also conduct safety inspections, report mechanical issues, keep accurate fuel and mileage records and ensure compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
Applicants must be mature, born-again Christians who adhere to Citam's faith statement.
A valid PSV driving licence endorsed for buses (Class E), a certificate of good conduct and at least four years of bus driving experience—preferably in a school setting—are mandatory.
Defensive driving skills and basic mechanical knowledge will be advantageous.
Truck Driver
To further bolster its logistics department, Citam is also recruiting a truck driver to serve within its missions department.
Reporting to the Head of Missions, the successful candidate will ensure safe and timely transportation of mission supplies and personnel to outreach destinations while upholding the organisation’s Christian values.
Duties include loading and offloading supplies, planning delivery routes, performing routine maintenance checks, maintaining accurate fuel and mileage logs and supporting mission teams during fieldwork.
The role demands flexibility and a missionary attitude that aligns with Citams outreach vision.
Applicants must be born-again Christians with a valid PSV licence for trucks, a certificate of good conduct and a minimum of five years’ professional driving experience—preferably involving long-distance travel.
Defensive driving and mechanical skills are an added advantage.
How to Apply
Interested and qualified candidates for all positions are required to submit their applications through the portal https://citam.mcidirecthire.com/External/Job by October 24, 2025.
Citam has cautioned applicants against fraud, noting that the hiring process is free of charge.
