When Nadia Mukami broke the news that she was expecting Kai, Arrow Bwoy felt joy, but it was coupled with significant internal worry.

"I was saying, are we going to end where we were?"

Despite this underlying anxiety, he decided to focus on support, stating that supporting loved ones is the "most important thing" men must offer.

He committed to being a hands-on father from the start, consistently attending every clinic appointment unless he was out of the country.

Delivery by Caesarean Section

Initially, the couple had prepared for a normal delivery. Nadia eventually decided she wanted a normal birth. However, after a prolonged struggle to achieve dilation, the doctor advised a surgical delivery.

"It became necessary for the doctor to tell us she was going for the knife [C-section],” Bwoy recounted.

Arrow Bwoy noted that they were fortunate because they were already brand ambassadors for the hospital, which covered all costs, easing the financial burden usually associated with such procedures.

The Operation Room Tension

The moment of delivery was highly stressful, particularly because Arrow Bwoy was present in the operating room during the C-section.

He described his time there as the "most anxious moment". The tension peaked immediately after Kai was born.

As soon as the baby cried, Nadia Mukami suffered a severe panic attack and fainted.

“The day of delivery, I was present in the operating room. That’s where I experience tense panic, especially after seeing her being operated on with a knife. I was asking myself, ‘will she make it?’…” he stated.

Arrow Bwoy suddenly found himself holding the newborn child. He recalled a moment of panic, wondering:

"I am going to raise the child alone. My first kid, and the mother is gone… that anxiety you know…"

Fortunately, Nadia recovered quickly after a few minutes, through God's grace. She was then handed Kai to begin breastfeeding, marking the successful and emotional conclusion to the stressful delivery.

The couple later celebrated their new fatherhood by releasing a song dedicated to Kai. Arrow Bwoy continues to be actively involved, stating that bonding with Kai involves washing him and changing his nappies.
