Musician and prominent businesswoman Akothee has hit back fiercely at her online critics.
The star is currently overseas but addressed the uproar concerning her controversial fashion choices.
Akothee stated that she believes her biggest online enemies are individuals from her own Nyanza region.
She has now given these critics a green light to continue their abuse. However, this permission is strictly conditional.

Backlash Over Ajawa Dress
The ongoing online discussion started following photos from the Ajawa event. At the event, singer Akothee stepped onto the stage in an outfit that drew attention for its bold and unconventional style.
She was dressed in what appeared to be a thigh-length jacket, paired with shorts that were so short they were barely visible.
This particular ensemble showcased her characteristic daring fashion sense, which has often sparked public debate. She has consistently maintained that her fashion choices are her own and that she is not a role model for anyone.

Akothee acknowledged the level of engagement the images were receiving. She noted that the photo related to the controversy recently garnered 5,000 comments.

The businesswoman directly questioned why her dress code caused such a strong reaction. She stated she could not see the alleged "black bum" that critics complained was exposed.
She demanded justice for her long legs. She stressed that her primary goal is to return and continue bothering people.

The Nyanza Rift

She admitted, however, that the reality on the ground is quite different.
“By the waydont be shocked, my biggest enemies / haterson line are my pipo from Nyanza kwa ground ni different CONFUSION.”
The star speculated on the motives behind this specific regional rivalry. She alleged that these individuals wish they could replace her.
They desire to substitute her with their own female relatives. These relatives include their sisters, daughters, or aunties.

The Insult Challenge and Condition
In a dramatic move, Akothee permitted her detractors to insult her fully. She challenged them to release all their pain into their comments today.
She explained that she did not want anyone carrying that emotional burden into a new month. She even expressed sympathy for them.
She promised her followers that she would not respond to any of these harsh insults.
"Insult me today with all that's in your heart. I don’t want you to carry that pain into a new month haki I feel for you trust me I won't respond.”
This permission came with a clear requirement, however. Akothee stated that critics must ensure their personal history meets a specific standard.
Her only condition was: "Just make sure your background is worth the insult".
