Prevent it by keeping skin dry, wearing moisture-wicking clothes, and using protective balms or powders.

If chafing occurs, gently clean the area, pat it dry, and apply a soothing ointment like petroleum jelly or a zinc-based cream.

Persistent or infected chafing may need medical attention.
