The Drama Heats Up

The celebrations were short-lived as fellow Arbantone rapper Toxic Lyrikali weighed in. Toxic initially offered a brief congratulatory message on his Instagram stories, but he later seemed to turn on both Tipsy Gee and Parroty Vunulu during an Instagram Live session.

Toxic appeared to dismiss their credibility to give him advice with a sharp comment:

"Mnani advice na niliwapita kitambo, ati ati unionyeshe vile nitakaa kwa game na ndio unapata plaque sai."

In short, he was questioning how they could advise him when he felt he was already more successful and they were only just now getting a plaque.

A History of Bad Blood

Toxic's comments came after both Tipsy Gee and Parroty Vunulu had publicly offered him advice.

In a previous interview, Tipsy Gee had warned that industry fame doesn't last forever. He also revealed that Toxic had once refused to collaborate with him.

Separately, Parroty Vunulu advised Toxic to be more humble in the industry to avoid a sudden downfall.
