Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Huddah Monroe has once again sparked debate online after blasting relatives who she says expect financial support despite not working for themselves.
In a fiery Instagram Story, Huddah expressed frustration at family members who, according to her, want to enjoy the fruits of her hard work without putting in any effort of their own.
“People who never work for money and want equal share with you. As if you don’t have sleepless nights while they sleep all day. I’ll drive past a family member with a Lambo and even splash water on them without a care,” she wrote.

Mixed Reactions From Fans
Her comments immediately drew attention, with fans and critics weighing in on her stance. Some applauded her blunt honesty, arguing that many successful individuals often face unrealistic financial demands from relatives.
“She’s just saying what most people think but fear to say,” one fan commented.
Others, however, criticized her for being too harsh, suggesting that wealth should be used to uplift family rather than alienate them.
Her remarks quickly spread across social media, igniting mixed reactions.

Some fans applauded her candor, saying she had voiced a reality many successful people face. “Facts only. Family entitlement is real,” one fan commented.
Another added, “Finally, someone said it. Not everyone wants to hustle but they want to enjoy the benefits.” Others, however, felt her words were too harsh. “That’s your blood, no matter what. You don’t just splash water on them,” one critic argued.
