A Plea for Decency

Among the many comments, a plea from fellow Kenyan Wanjiku Stephens stood out. Stephens, best known for her role in the TV series Maria, offered a gentle but firm rebuke.

She suggested that Majimbo doesn't need to resort to such provocative dressing to be loved and celebrated.

"I know it’s Your body your choice girl but imagine we will still love you when fully dressed,” she commented.

Stephens's message echoed sentiments from many other users, including those who expressed concern that Majimbo might be straying from the relatable, chip-eating persona that first made her famous during the COVID-19 pandemic.
