Vera’s Mom Worried About Working Schedule

Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika has shared a private conversation with her mother, who expressed concern over her daughter's non-stop work ethic.

The exchange highlights the intense pressure and tight schedule the socialite maintains, which she admits is taking a physical toll on her body.

In the messages, Vera’s mother was "shocked at how I'm working back to back, no rest".

She advised her daughter to “slow down to avoid burning out”. In her reply, Vera acknowledged the warning, saying she gets "massages everyday to help me cope" and is still jet-lagged from a recent trip to Thailand.

A “Full-Time Mom & Workaholic”

Vera’s mother’s concern comes after the socialite revealed her packed schedule.

Following her return to Kenya, she had an event in Nairobi, a flight at 6:45 am the next day to Lodwar for another event, and a third event planned for the following morning in Eldoret.

Vera has embraced the "workaholic" label, stating on her Instagram that when she is in Kenya, she is a "full time mom & workaholic".

She added that she typically has at least "3 shows lined up" immediately after a vacation.

She also shared a past example of her commitment, remembering a time she had "20 club appearances in December alone" in different towns and cities, some of which were only accessible by road.

Vera’s hard work appears to be paying off financially, a fact she openly celebrates. During a recent show in Lodwar, where she landed at 7:30 am, she was "sprayed over Ksh. 300,000".

She clarified in a social media caption that this was "Just For the fun of it" and that her professional rate card for the show was separate. She concluded the post by stating, "Y'all know I love money too much".
