Tanzanian music star Mbosso recently embarked on a journey of nearly 340 kilometres from Dar es Salaam to the mountainous Kazita community in Muheza.
His mission was to meet the schoolchildren and their teacher, Mwalimu Jao Mabruck Kalesi, who had creatively re-enacted his popular hit song "Pawa" as an educational piece.

The visit aimed to offer appreciation, congratulations, and gifts as a thank you for transforming his song into an inspiring tool for students' studies.
"Pawa": A New Anthem for Learning
The song "Pawa" had been ingeniously adapted by the Kazita Primary School students and their teachers, becoming a powerful motivator for academic success.
“Approximately 298 kilometers and more from Dar Es Salaam to Muheza District were not enough to reach our #PAWA Teacher. We had to travel more than 40 kilometers to the very top of the mountains in KAZITA Village so that we could reach Teacher JAO MABRUCK KALESI and the students of KAZITA Primary School,” Mbosso said.

The song also carries the uplifting message that "no one can stop dreams from coming true". This adaptation has been adopted by various teachers to encourage students in their lessons.
Overwhelming Gratitude from Kazita
Upon Mbosso's arrival, the community's joy was evident. The teacher expressed profound gratitude, stating, "You have honoured us greatly, the community of this mountain".
The teacher also admitted to initial disbelief that the star would truly make the journey to their remote village.
“The goal is to appreciate and convey to them Congratulations and Gifts as a Return of Gratitude for Making Our #PAWA Song a Motivational Part of Teaching Students and Encouraging Them in Their Studies.
This #PAWA song, which was transformed into a School song has now been witnessed being used by various Teachers to teach students and inspire them to Success in Their Studies,” Mbosso confirmed.
