The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has announced two job vacancies as it seeks to strengthen its operations in regulating political parties in Kenya.

In a notice published in the local dailies on Tuesday, the ORPP invited applications from qualified and competent individuals to fill the positions of Deputy Director Internal Audit and Assurance, and Driver.

Both positions are pensionable.

According to the advert, the Deputy Director role is a senior position that requires an individual to provide strategic leadership in internal audit and assurance.

The Driver position on the other hand, requires professionalism and reliability in supporting the office’s logistical needs.

“The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties is seeking competent, capable, ambitious, self-motivated and committed individuals that demonstrate the appropriate expertise and experience to contribute to the implementation of our mandate,” the notice read.

Applicants are required to submit several clearance documents, including a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, tax compliance from the Kenya Revenue Authority, clearance from the Higher Education Loans Board, and a report from a licensed Credit Reference Bureau.

They must also obtain a self-declaration form from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

Interested candidates can access detailed job profiles, qualifications, and requirements on the ORPP website.

“Applications should be submitted by September 16, 2025 at 5:00 pm to the Registrar of Political Parties, Office of the Registrar of Political Parties, Lion Place, 4th Floor, Karuna Close, Waiyaki Way, Westlands,” the notice read in part.

The ORPP emphasised its commitment to fairness, merit, and diversity.

It further assured applicants that no fees are charged at any stage of the selection process, including application, interviews, and processing of offer letters.

Additionally, Kenya Utalii College has announced several senior vacant positions as part of its effort to strengthen its management and service delivery in the hospitality and tourism sector.

The institution is seeking experienced, innovative, vibrant professionals and team leaders to drive its strategic vision.

The recruitment process targets professionals who will provide sound, focused management.

“The professionals will take full responsibility for implementing strategy within the power delegated by the council,” Utalii College noted.

The positions advertised include Director Strategy, Partnership and Enterprise; Director Human Resource and Administration; Director Utalii Hotel; Deputy Director Legal Services; Deputy Director Internal Audit and Risk Assurance; Assistant Director Estate Management; Assistant Director Supply Chain Management; and Community Health Nurse.

All the positions are on a one-year contract, renewable based on performance and retirement age requirements.

They further noted that detailed information on job descriptions, duties, and application requirements is available on the college’s website, www.utalii.ac.ke.

“Interested candidates are advised to submit applications through email address: [email protected] as well as physical copies posted or delivered to the Council’s offices located off Thika Super Highway, Nairobi,” the notice read.

Interested candidates were also advised to submit their applications by Friday, September 19, 2025.

The Council also reiterated its commitment to diversity and inclusion in recruitment.

Moreover,

the National Treasury has announced a new job opening under the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) Program.

The position is for a Procurement Officer on a one-year contract.

According to the notice, the program aims to strengthen local resilience to the impacts of climate change, natural hazards, and other shocks.

It seeks to build local capacity to plan, budget, implement, and monitor investments in resilience.

“The program development objective is to strengthen local resilience to the impacts of climate change, natural hazards, and other shocks or stressors by building local capacity to plan, budget, implement and monitor resilience investments,” the statement read.

The body noted that the advertised role will be based at the Program Implementation Unit (PIU) in Nairobi.

"The position is subject to satisfactory performance. It has outlined detailed qualifications and responsibilities on its website at www.treasury.go.ke. Applications must include a curriculum vitae, copies of certificates, and other supporting documents," the national treasury noted.

Candidates are also required to provide email and telephone contacts, along with the names and addresses of three referees.

"The application should be sent to the Principal Secretary, National Treasury, P.O. Box 30007-00100, Nairobi. Interested candidates can also email applications to [email protected] or [email protected]," they further noted.

"The deadline for submissions is September 9, 2025, at 1630 hours."

Additionally, the University of Eldoret has announced a fresh round of job opportunities targeting professionals in academic and administrative fields.

The public chartered university said it is seeking results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill several positions.

Among the vacancies advertised are Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, Senior Assistant Dean of Students, University Chaplain, Assistant Registrar, Accountants, Farm Manager, Senior Clinical Officer, Students’ Counsellor, and Supply Chain Management Assistant.

Others include Senior Administrative Assistants, Assistant Transport Officer, Senior Assistant Students’ Counsellor, Administrative Assistants, and Drivers.

Each of the positions comes with a specific grade, reference number, and number of slots available.

The university emphasized that applications must be submitted electronically.

"Applicants should send scanned copies of their documents in PDF format to the Vice-Chancellor via the email address provided in the advert," the notice read.

"The deadline is midnight of September 5, 2025, and required documents include a detailed curriculum vitae, certified academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and identification documents."

Furthermore, the Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) has announced 13 job openings across various departments as it seeks to strengthen service delivery in the coastal region.

The agency is offering vacancies ranging from senior technical roles to support staff.

Among the advertised positions are Principal ICT Officer, Chemist I, Corporate Communications Officer, Office Administrator, and Lab Technician.

Others include Artisan III (Pump Operator), Inspector Electrical I, Inspector Mechanical I, Mechanical Engineer II, Senior Mechanical Engineer, and Senior Driver.

"Interested candidates have until Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 5:00 pm to submit their applications," the statement said.

"Applications can be made online through the agency’s email or sent via hard copy to the Chief Executive Officer at the agency’s headquarters in Mombasa."
